What To Expect

  • Consultations every 4 weeks until 28 weeks of pregnancy
  • Consultations every 2 weeks until 34 weeks of pregnancy
  • Consultations every week from 34 weeks of pregnancy until birth
  • Compulsory Sonar scans at 12 and 20 weeks of pregnancy
  • Gynecologist check ups at 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy

Breastfeeding Assistance

  • 1st hour FREE (virtual)
  • R350/hour (after 1st hour)
  • Home/Hospital visit - R400/hour (location dependant)


Antenatal Check Ups

  • Monitoring your pregnancy journey
  • Doctors and Sonar Fees are at additional cost

Postnatal Check Ups

  • Consultation - R350
  • Monitoring Weight Gain, Minor Ailments, Maternal Checkups (Post Birth)

About

Hi, my name is Nadia Clay, a Professional Midwife and student Lactation Consultant. I graduated at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and received my Bachelors Degree in Nursing, with qualifications in Midwifery, Psychiatry and Community nursing. My passion for assisting mothers throughout their labouring journey grew during my Community Service year, it is during this year that I instinctively knew that my heart belonged to mothers and their newborn baby.

Working in a labour ward has equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to assist mothers during this journey providing them with a positive birthing experience. I currently work at a fertility center where my compassion and love continue by assisting women and men to achieve their dreams of parenthood.

I dream of running my own private practice where I can build a strong and trusting foundation with my parents to be, providing them with intuitive care from conception, natural labour and breastfeeding. I believe that pregnancy and birth are a blessing from God and a time to be happy, grateful and encouraged for the journey that lies ahead.
